OPEN-ACCESS FACILITIES TO ACCELERATE CLEAN ENERGY RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, AND DEPLOYMENT
CEI is creating new facilities to reduce the time and capital needed to translate research discoveries into scalable energy products. CEI ensures open access to state-of-the-art research and development instruments and research staff expertise at its Washington Clean Energy Testbeds. The Testbeds and a new Center for Advanced Materials and Clean Energy Technologies elevate UW, Seattle, and the region as a clean energy research and technology hotbed.
The Washington Clean Energy Testbeds is an open-access, pay-per-use lab facility where users retain all intellectual property.
CEI is part of a vibrant and collaborative science and engineering community at UW, enabling access to on-campus facilities for clean energy research.
The Center for Advanced Materials and Clean Energy Technologies (CAMCET) will be the world’s premier innovation hub for climate tech.
