My research as a doctoral candidate in Construction Management at the University of Washington directly supports the Clean Energy Institute’s mission to accelerate a scalable and equitable clean energy future. Through the development and field validation of rapid-set, low-carbon concrete materials for infrastructure repair, I contribute to advancing next-generation energy-efficient infrastructure technologies. My work integrates AI-driven optimization, lifecycle impact assessment, and sustainable material science to enhance durability, reduce emissions, and minimize downtime in critical infrastructure systems. These innovations not only align with CEI’s focus on scalable clean energy solutions and grid integration but also promote equitable access to resilient infrastructure, thereby improving public health and economic outcomes across communities.
