2016 CEI Fellowships and ST&E Grants Open

The Clean Energy Institute is now accepting applications for two of its signature programs.

Clean Energy Fellowship– CEI’s Graduate Fellows Program provides UW students the opportunity to help shape the clean energy future of the Pacific Northwest and the global energy economy by advancing next generation solar energy and electrical energy storage materials, devices and systems. Applications by students are due July 31st. More information and application link.

Student Training and Exploration Grants- Awards are made to teams of PIs that support ambitious, forward-looking research and educational plans with the specific goal of seeding a future collaborative extramural grant applications.  Applications are made on a rotating basis with a first review by September 1, 2016. Since its founding the Clean Energy Institute has contributed more than $1.1 million toward the education of 66 STEM scholars and recruitment of 12 students through our fellowship programs.
